FYI to all. Harbor Freight has this little 4in X 36in Belt Sander on sale for only $58.13 WITH COUPON, AND THIS MAKES A GREAT BELT SHARPENING SYSTEM for all your chisels, turning tools, handplane cutters, etc. And at this price you can convert this thing for LESS THAN $100.

Here is a review I did on HOW TO do the conversion. Check it out. And NO, I do not work for HF. I just find this tool conversion to be quite useful and it gets used a lot in my shop.

That’s a great idea. Have not seen this conversion idea before. Your are certainly correct about saving a lot of money. The info. at AAW is no longer available but looks relatively simple and your photos help. Thanks.
