Woodfinder.com is one resource that has proven to be helpful in locating lumber sources. Craigslist is another resource on which I have located lumber for sale at reasonable prices. -- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby. |

Try Niagara www.niagaralumber.com. They will ship it to your door cheaper then you can buy for in our area. |

I bought around 8,000 bd ft from Creveling Sawmill. The owner was a friend and when he died his son bought the mill back. It looks like they were bought out by another lumber Co. But it still looks like the old saw. I moved to DE about 4 years ago and have not been back to the mill. They had a kiln, but I don’t know about what they provide now. If you see Eric Creveling. Tell him I say hello. -- What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. No wait that doesn't sound right. Karson Southern Delaware karson_morrison@bigfoot.com † |

Local, I was in your shoes a few weeks ago and I have found the place for you. Right off the cross Westchester expressway in White Plains and simple to get to. They are NOT open on weekends and hours are 8-4:30 during the week. However, they will have just about anything you are looking for and plenty of it. It was a first for me to this type of yard and it was eye opening, but be sure to bring a check book bc no credit cards accepted. I used google maps, “street level view” (which i tried to post here but it didn’t work) to see what the place looked like before I went so I knew what I was looking for. Good luck.
