I realize that for this site to stay afloat that it needs to have advertising but, does it need to invade into the content of the page. When I go to the video thread there is two rows of of video blogs you can see all of the left hand row but, the right side is partially obscured by the advertisement ribbon so you can only read part of the threads description. I have tried zooming in and, zooming out no difference. Just had to rant I hope something can be done.

I don’t think LJ’s is doing this as I am not getting these ads nor any other ad problems. Maybe you’ve got some cookies lurking on your system.

Damn, Kohler. That IS a bold advertisement. I guess they weren’t kidding.

I can’t believe so few use adblock…
I wouldn’t have a pc without it.

I’m all for supporting a site via ad revenue, but the second those ads become intrusive the adblocker is activated and I browse in peace.

Okay I down loaded adblock and, the adds have disappeared thanks. Than I went to video thread the ribbon on the right side of the screen it has no adds but is still invading into the right hand row of video threads where you can only read half of the description of the threads, oh well I guess at least there is no adds. Thanks Rick M for the link.

There are about 3 Other Posts on this same thing. I replied there as here.’

My “Door is Wide Open” and I’m NOT getting any of these Ads (“Bugs”). I also have NO Ad Blockers of any kind on My Computer.

Is it The Site? Maybe.
