I like woodpecker tools for many reasons. The quality of their tools is just outstanding. Second, I have even come to not mind the wait. I ordered the center gauge set a few months ago, and the box arrived the other day. It was a total surprise and it was like getting an early Christmas present. I’d forgot I had ordered it.

I know it was a total indulgence, but I got to say I spent a little time using it tonight and the joy of using such a well made tool is unreal. The case is well made and tough. It provides easy center-line marking and mortise marking for the standard sizes. I got the imperial version and just love it. Of course I love all their tools from measuring tools, to squares, to my router lift. Great tools well (American) made.

I have one complaint….... Quit sending me the info on new offerings….. I’m going to go broke!

I like supporting a US company that makes quality products.

I just ordered a bunch of their aluminium box clamps since they are on sale now.

It is an expensive fascination, for sure.
