So occasionally we let our 2 horses (a Paint and a Thoroughbred) inside the fence area around the shop. My wife thought it was cute when the rain came the other day and the horses came inside the shop to stay dry. She says we had some horsepower in the shop.

So I also thought it was amusing. So I went about my business, we closed down later that afternoon. The horses still hanging out inside the fenced area. The next morning I go to the shop and our 2 cute horses left me a few piles of surprises that were not so amusing at all.

So not sure if this was the best place to put this thread, but it relates to the shop and possesses horsepower, so we will see if it gets the boot :)

I lived in a place where my shop was down a dirt hill. I had
to carry sheets down and it wore me out.

When I moved on I pushed my machines up that hill. After
it was done my neighbor told me she could have had
her draft horse do it.

Hey Loren, yeah, the draft horses would have been a nice help. One thing, those horses are very strong. Wonder why she waited til after you were done to tell you about the draft horses.

That story had me cracking up Mr. Jerry. When are you going to give us all a picture tour of your new shop? Would love to see it

I’d never seen her use the horses for hauling and it didn’t
occur to me… probably her neither. They were pets.

Thanks for the comments and mrjinx007 is right, that is just pure horse s**t…

Kaleb, I was sort of waiting until I was able to get most everything put away and had a nice neat organized shop to show. But in light of how busy we have been of late, we just have not had much time to do anything but to try and keep up. A family and their builder hired us on a larger 170 LF job and they already were painted in at the time, meaning they really needed to hire a cabinet guy 2 months before they ever even talked with me. Now they are scheduled to close on June 16th and are wondering where are their doors. Well I know, they are in my shop getting stained and lacquered. Just a bit stressed. I do want to get those shop pictures posted and so I am anxious to do so. Thanks for the reminder.
