Depends on if you just bought it or you’re selling it. If you bought that for $150, then I’m jealous as heck and yeah you pretty much suck ;-). IF on the other hand you are selling for $150 Canadian, then you are my new best friend, I would be happy to buy it from you, and no, you do not suck, you don’t even own a shop vac, if fact I think there may even be an overpressure…

Ah Jerry, you put a smile on my face every time bud!

I bought it. Ive been waiting a long time for my first bandsaw…in my area 150 would normally get you the benchtop models and 14 inchers go for 300-500. There is a King 14 inch bandsaw an hour away going for 495.

I called the guy as soon as I saw it, and when I got there you could tell the guy had taken good care of the machine. He had it all set up and ready for me, and had hardwood and softwood ready for me to test cut with. It fired up nicely and made short work of 3/4” oak flooring. I was sold and offered the guy his full asking price. He threw in the blade.

Im really excited to get into the world of bandsaws, bandsaw boxes in particular. I also look forward to tweaking this bad boy out as best I can. First up is a fence. Lucky for me a good buddy of mine is a fence expert. Ill have a chat with him and maybe we can come up with something cool.

Thanks for reading Jerry, see you around bud.

EDIT: Tinman I just emailed you LOL, youre the “secret buddy”

It depends, how much is $150 Canadian in real money?

Okay guys, before we give him too much of a hard time, let’s not forget that sooner or later we must all face our inner Canadian.

These clones are wonderful. I have one and at first had trouble with it. I got a HF link belt and watched the Alex Snodgrass video. Now my band saw and I are best friends.

Oh and suck is such a harsh term when describing a fellow jock. That said, you do create a vacuum.
