That’s a great watch!!! I would sure make sure to pray before going to work! The days of engineering and making things work!!!

Wonder if I could get the neighbors chickens to do the same thing for me. That the only work animals I have around in my neck of the woods. Ha I don’t even have any woods around me.

That sure looks like a lot of hard work. I don’t doubt they better understand the value of lumber vs. just picking up a few 2×4’s at a big box store.

That’s so freaking cool! I never think about there being Amish communities in south and Latin American countries. I wish there was a mill like that around here because they would definitely get my business!

That is some saw blade. Amish around here will not let you take their picture, they believe it is an image and is not allowed by God. larry

I used to own my very own sawmill in France.
It was very much like this one but smaller and originally with steam engine, I converted it to an electric motor

Those guys are Mennonites, not Amish. We saw quite a few while riding the public buses all over Belize. They have a lot of the orange groves and I think the whole dairy industry in Belize (I am not sure about this).

You realize that is tropical hardwood those guys are milling, don’t you?

If they were Amish it would have been their women harnessed to the horse mill instead of the horses.

Great video, now if I only had some horses and a mill.
