That’s a Harbor Freight Lathe. I had one… the bed is sheet metal square bars. NOT RIGID… http://www.harborfreight.com/14-inch-x-40-inch-lathe-with-7-inch-sander-67690.html |

$50 would be a deal. As is they take about $25 in material to stiffen up the body to make them usable and not bend under tension. After they get fixed up from the factory they are decent machines, they definitely need to be reinforced. I believe they are going for $110 ish ATM new with a coupon. Paul. |

It is a Harbor Frieght 14X40 lathe with a 7-inch sander. New with all accessories and no coupon is $140. +1 for Paul. Telll the seller what he really has and offer him $50. -- Life is what happens to you while you are planning better things -Mark Twain |

It really does look like a higher quality lathe. I’d rather pass. |

Found another one in Palos Park for $30. Has to go asap. I’m tempted to pick it up. |

http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/tls/4487463871.html Paul, it would cost me $40 in gas money making it just not quite worth it to me. |

And the seller misspelled it. |
