I finished a project Saturday and haven’t started the next. After cleaning up the shop and doing a little tool maintenance Sunday I didn’t really have time to start a new project today but I did have a hunk of Beech I had pulled out of the wood pile that was perfect for making a few wood stock planes.

I cut out 4 blanks:

One I finished. It may be a keeper. I expect I will cut a little off the tail as it is a touch long. I normally build them that way and then adjust size as I work them and will coat it with BLO.

BTW, the plane next to the new one is my go to wood stock. Almost any time I need to trim or chamfer it’s the plane I use.

P.S. Photos are missed up, I can’t figure out why….Sorrry
