Thought I’d share a link to an interesting story on I’ve been checking out a lot of carving and wood sculpture on the sight lately and this seems to go hand-in-hand with the subject.

It has an audio slideshow you can view too. I’m not sure if this is limited to online subscribers or not. Apologies in advance if it is. -Jeff

Thanks, Jeff. I agree with Dorje. There is something special about eh carving done on the north West Coast of America.

For those interested in Canadian First People’s art, I took a series of photo’s when in Vancouver last year and placed them in this blog. Take a look at the last picture that shows a number of beautiful pieces in a display cabinet – and don’t forget to check out the sticker price.
