Hello, I’m not to sure if there are to many people here at LJ that have an etsy shop, but i thought i would see if any of you guys have a shop.
I just opened a shop a little while ago and am looking for some pointers of what to do, like for intestines a good description for the “about you’ section and a shop description, and basically everything else i have pretty much no idea what I’m doing so i figured i would ask you guys about this. Here's a link to my etsy shop so your can see ho incomplete it is

Thanks in advance :)

...sorry…’intestines’ instead ‘instance’ is just a golden example of auto correct screwing up a sentence LOL!

I’m on Etsy too, very recently I might add. See the link in my signature. It takes the right mood for me to write creatively, but analyzing writing on a technical level is no problem. Take your shop description, for instance (ha).

Welcome to my shop, Here you will find only hand made items for sale, you will find mostly home decor items such as candle holders, fretwork pieces that hang on the wall, and some other things. If you are interested in something custom that is made of wood let me know I am capable of doing a lot of things. If you have any questions comments or suggestions of what you would like to see for sale here let me know, all comments are welcome. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.

There’s a lot of commas used where there should be a period, and other places where there should be a comma but there isn’t one. And the opening could be more enthusiastic, so why not an exclamation point there? The second and third sentences both include the phrase “you will find”. The repetition makes it sound redundant, so I’d change that. Switch up “goods” for “items” to avoid repetition. Remove the phrase “a lot of things” where it appears. Too vague. Here’s how I’d rework it.

Thanks Brian, i never was good at writing stuff.
If there is anything else you can critique me on let me know, i appreciate it. Do you have any pointers for writing policies? Check mine out and let me know what you think. And as for the stuff i have up for sale, do you think i have a good format for the description?
