I know I’m a day late, but Happy July 1st to all the Canadians in the group. I had a beautiful day at the lake. I was with my wife, my brother, my parents, my children, my dog, and my brothers stupid excuse for a dog. Not even that little mutt (of which has a mutual dislike of me) could ruin my day. Frankly, I didn’t know this dog was still alive and when seeing me for the first time in 4 years, he had the same look on his face.

We got our catamaran together and in the water. We got the ski boat in the water. There were some scary moments with it not starting, but the battery had frozen with minimal charge and it was toast. I hate doing that, as now I have a battery to dispose of. After getting everything out and used and put away, my brother and I played golf on a new course out this way. We had a nice round as it wasn’t too busy and the company was great.

A dinner with the family, coffee on the deck, and then blowing off a bunch of fireworks. One of the amazing things is we can see a few villages around the lake at night. From about 11:30PM (when it finally got dark enough to set some off) until 2am (When my daughter finally got tired enough to go to sleep) there was a steady launching of little fireworks from about 200 individual sites around these communities. It was really a beautiful night.

My son woke up at 5am so I’m a little blurry this morning, but it does give me time to catch up at LJ!

Have a great week everyone!

Tom

Great pattern, Karson! You’re daughter did a wonderful job. I saw the Canadian Flag version. I just wish I knew what to do with it. I’d make it.
