I think it is something used in Terrariums for lizard and snakes. It is called Grapewood. There are a lot of sites selling it. Look up the name and see if it isn’t close.
I make canes of Diamond Willow and they are predominantly straight growing and the bark is different.
Could be Manzanita but I really don’t think so. Check out the Grapewood.

Thanks for the replies guys! I would say overall it looks most like grapewood but in the details i think it is different! It looks a bunch of what look like “thumbpresses”; like if you took some Play-Dough and pushed your thumbs into it! It also has a few rocks embedded into the opening of the wood, like the wood grew around it. It has a date on it so it looks like this was sold in some sort of souvenir shop or something like that. I’ll post more pics…
