What should I do with this piece of figured cherry?

Hi peoples,

I have this 1.75” thick piece of cherry. There is definitely a lot of checking, splitting, and other defects, but there is a really cool figured pattern in the middle of the board.

It’s plenty thick that I could resaw a ton of veneers out of it, but I’m not sure what to build with it. It almost looks like a tail or a fireball.

OH MAN!!!!

I just tried bookmatching the veneer in Photoshop….

Not sure it would be the most tasteful approach for obvious reasons…....

that figure is amazing… though i guess i should apologize… i think.. i am an artist.. and mother nature made this … not me… but I snapped this picture about a year ago walking through the neighborhood.
