Hey guys, this may seem a little weird but, the LOML is discarding two items that have good, working motors. 1. a garbage disposal and, 2. a 14 amp. upright vacuum.

I’m a bit frugal and cannot bring myself to toss these items or simply give them away. Does anyone have any ideas for their use or, use for the motor(s) in the shop.

I will be eternally grateful for your input.

If you vaccum works at all, and I know they are loud but it can be used to do vaccum bonding, (gluing up). Along with this, use one of those vaccum bags you see on tv that people put clothes and blankets in and suck the air out for storage, they are great to put wood parts in for bonding and its an even pressure on all surfaces.

Thanks K-Maker. We have some of those bags! They really do work for their intended purpose, too. I never thought about making “clamps” with them. Great idea.
