Delta 22-560 Planer near me for $125. Anyone have thoughts about this model?

It’s an okay planer, parts should be available for a while as many of these were sold. The 12 1/2” capacity is close to what’s offered on many brand new models. $125 seems like it could be a good deal if the planer is very lightly used.

I had one of those, gave it to a buddy when I got my Grizzly GO453px. Best thing it worked for was running boards through on edge to clean up saw marks. Wide cuts were tough. Thing screamed.

It’s of marginal quality and power, but probably can’t go too far wrong for $125 if it is in decent condition.

That’s my planer. I’ve had no issues with it. Eventually at Dewalt 735, but til then, it make things flat. Light cuts as you finish to eliminate snipe.

I missed it but it wound up for the best as I scored a DeWalt 734 for a great price. Thanks for your help!
