At least now he gets the satisfaction of cutting it down. Never had that happen to me, but I can see how it would happen. Years ago we had straight line winds that blew down hundreds of trees on our land. I guess that could have happened to any of those trees as we cut them up.

It should be easier to get down the second time. But I hope they have the camera going, just in case.

Freak stuff like that is the reason I no longer cut trees.
Had one nearly break my arm when it did a “jump back”. Scared me, and I’m fearless (Yeah! Right!).
