Topic tags/keywords: jig tip question trick resource

So a few days ago i post a question on here because i has having probs with my half blind dovetails on my leigh jig. That is now fixed. But now as i’m looking at my box i have notice that i don’t have a square box i have a rectagle.
The cuts for my pin boards are at 9 1/4
The cuts for my tail boards are at 9 3/4

(I’m going off of what others have said was right here at the shop)

So i put everything together my pins being the back and front and my tails being left side and right side. from out side board to out side board
from left to right i’m at 8 13/16
from back to front i’m at 8 and 24/32
from left to right i’m at 7 5/16
from back to front i’m at 7 1/4

from inside board to inside board

But i don’t know if maybe i need to cut my pin boards down an 8th or what

I’m using a leigh super 18 jig to cut my half blind dovetails. i’m set at 1/2 inch on the side gage

A picture may help us see what the problem is. Was the box square before you cut the dovetails?
