I have had my troubles with my last two table saws. Now I’m in the market for a new one and trying to get something that is decent but not breaking the pocket. I found a Grizzly G1023S cabinet table saw, 3hp wired for 220v. Comes with Shop Fox Fence, 47” rails and 7’ rails for sale. Guy is asking $800. Im sure there will be some maintenance involved with it since its used.

Is $600 a decent offer?

Anything I need to look for when checking it out?

Any common issues with these models?

Unfortunately if I purchase this I can not return it like the last two Ridgids I had.

with the bigger fence I would be inclined to go $600, but that would be tops for me. It’s a right hand tilt, just to point that out. I don’t want to start a debate, but I prefer left. I know for $1300 you can have a new left tilt version of the same saw delivered to the door. I would start there as a new price. and figure somewhere in the neighborhood of half, depending on condition, accessories, and distance traveled to get it.

Shawn, I just found out it was right tilt. Figured I would ask. At this point I just need a TS, but I’m getting real frustrated. I was leaning towards the Steel City 35990C because of the trunnion mounts. Getting discouraged and ready to fold on the hobby for a little while. waahhmbulance come pick me up

I bought the same saw only with the stock fence for $550 a couple years ago if that helps with a price point. I think $650 is probably tops I would go.
