Gonna build a version of Norm’s Router Table but I have a question. I was thinking of building it without any plywood edge banding and just letting the drawers and door overlap…..although I am open to being talked out of it.

My question is on the door. If I use half overlay European style hinges will the door open properly without hitting the adjacent doors?

I love norm’s router table design, but one of the few things I’d change is the router compartment. There’s no need for a door, or dust collection down there. It just closes in the router which creates more heat for the router to contend with. My router table has fence dc only, and chips under the table haven’t been an issue.

The rest of your design looks fine.
