It has been quite some time since I have posted here, but I come to lumberjocks frequently to see the work that the " pros" are posting. Since I signed up to lumberjocks I have expanded my shop, renovated the living and dining rooms in the house and…... started building a guitar with a nearby luthier. I think I have found my woodworking passion! While guitar building requires the occasional use of a table saw or band saw, it can be done primarily with hand tools and I am finding it extremely rewarding thus far. So I am setting up my shop with guitar building in mind and plan to pursue that as my primary woodworking focus for the time being.
The wood: California Redwood top, Cherry back and sides.
