Topic tags/keywords: question

I bought this Central Pneumatic – item#68018 stapler and got some 1” and 1 1/2” staples for it but I need something shorter for a lot things and the manual for it says it will use 5/8” to 1 1/2” staples but I don’t see 5/8” staples on thier site on in my local HF stores. All I seem to be able to find are 1/2” . I even looked at HD and Lowes and all I found in this size are the 1/2” and 1” and larger.
So my question is does anyone know for sure if this gun can use the 1/2” staples even though the manual and website both say 5/8” to 1 1/2” .

Good question. This is from a SENCO cross reference guide.
Try a lunber yard. The big box stores will carry only the most commonly used sizes.

I bought a box full of different staples at a yard sale. I probably have 2 lbs of 3/4” x 1/4” that work in my HF nailer/stapler.
