I’m in the market for a new table saw, I want either a contractor or hybrid (must run 110/115 power) with a 30” cap. due to space. any ideas would be very helpful

The grizzly g0715p is just under $900 shipped I think and is one of the better hybrids.

No doubt that the G0715p is considered one of the better (and cost effective) hybrids, but it apparently still experiences the elevation issues. In addition, the thin insert could be annoying. See Jay’s review: http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/3811

Great way to spend $1000 and get $800 worth of saw.

If you would consider used, this might be worth looking at.

The Steel City 35990C is a very good hybrid saw (one of the few hybrids with cabinet mounted trunions) and is priced at $799 new. If you prefer granite top it’s only slightly higher priced.
