Not sure if there is a thread for this, but There is one for dogs so why not! I’m bored, figured it’d be cool to see what kind’s of cats everyone has.

My wife and I have two cats. A black domestic long hair (Jet, cause she’s jet black) And velcreaux a gorgeous Chartreaux from France. Her name is quite funny. I’ll get to that in a minute.

We’ve had Jet for i think 4 years, adopted her and her sister from a co-worker. I was totally opposed to them, i hated cats. 4 years later i still have em. Her sister Jada, ran away back in september, my wife was crushed. For a while I had been wanting a Blue russian, i mean come on, if you like cats you know how cool looking they are! My wife texted me one day saying there was a blue russian for adoption for $100, i didn’t hesitate to tell her to grab her.

The most beautiful cat i’ve seen. For a while we thought she was a blue russian until we did some research, the main difference is her eyes. They’re bright orange. Plus their coat is a little different. She had a problem walking when we brought her home, and the SPCA said it was from being cooped up in a cage. So we said okay thats probably right. Took her to a vet and she has Bilateral Hip displaysia. Basically her Balljoints for her hip don’t seat properly, and move all around, therfor she cant jump. So now we have bins stacked around for her to get up and onto things.

Here’s some pics of the furry buggers.

The was kind of creepy, to look up onto the loft, and see them staring down at us.

And these 2 are mine.

That leopard is absolutely gorgeous..So aren’t the tigers.

Those are some cute kitties! Are they related? Funny how one has it’s arm around the other.

Yes, they are brothers from the same litter. They are inseparable. If one wanders downstairs and realizes the other didn’t follow him, he’ll start crying. I think they may have been abandoned before we adopted them as they both have major separation anxiety when we are gone. Won’t leave us alone when we get home, even if it’s just for 20 min out to the store.

My Russian Blues. Although I don’t think they are purebread.

The one on the left has past. Her brother is still with me.

And my really old Balaneese.

And my evil Calico

Lmao. Cool blues. Are they vocal cats? My Chartreaux has severe separation anxiety too.Every time we step RIGHT outside the door to have a smoke, she starts crying.

The female was very vocal, but not the male. The Balaneese is very vocal also and is very loud, but is very smart. My friend thinks he looks like a space alien because of the shape of his head.
