Hey all -

I spotted this BS on Craigslist. I talked with the seller and he doesn’t seem to know much about it, nor do I !!
He says it runs good, and that’s about all the info I could get out of him.

So, any of you LJ’s know anything about a 1997 Value Craft band saw? To be honest I don’t really need it but if I had it, bet I could put it to good use. Or it might be a fun restore job, and I could give it to my nephew, who’s a 1st time home owner with lots of projects going on…

Thanks in advance :o)

That looks identical to a bandsaw that I have that is American Bandsaw.. The saw you have pictured is a knock off of Delta, jet parts and Delta parts will fit it. There were a bunch of saws made for different companies at that time tat all were the same saw but different numbers.

Thanks for the feed back, mrg.

I’ve surfed the interweb with google and bing, and haven’t come up with anything at all for that Value Craft BS on our local Craigslist….noth’n – zip – nada. Kind of scares me away from it. hmmmm…

from what I can see looks like it could be cleaned up and used if the motor works and wheel belts are not dry rotted. that’s a good price for Tennessee, not sure about your area. I just sold one similar for twice that, but it was cleaned up and running properly.

Well, based on the serial number, they might have only made 121 of them! ;)
