Topic tags/keywords: hardware keys locks antique hinges

I’m in the planning phase of doing a series of jewelry / humidor / keepsake boxes as gifts for Mothers and Father’s Day. I was wondering if any of my fellow lumber jocks had any suggestions on where to look for antique looking hardware for the cheapest price?

I’m specifically looking for the old fashioned key and lock where the key has ornimental top, leading to a rod and ending with 2-4 large teeth.

They don’t have to actually be antique I just want that look. Also I’m looking for the best deal as mentioned before.

I’ve seen them used in others projects so I figured this would be the best place to start.
