Is this really worth $250? Wondering if the motor ok, blades usable, and no table problems is it worth the price?

Machine values will change a bit depending on what area of the country you are in. In MD I would offer 200.

Here in WI, jointers aren’t super common on CL. Still, that one could use some cleanup with the rust on the tables and fence. I’d pay no more than 200 if it was mechanically sound.

Now that’s an old one as far as Jet tools go. Surprised it doesn’t have Geetech sticker on it, that’s the Taiwanese co. that manufactured many of the lower priced machines . I’d say tis one has no dust collection port, the stand is probably just open on the ejection end. Tables are short, 45” by the looks of it. The fence is as rudimentary as it gets but still serviceable and the front mounted hand wheels are a feature I have always preferred. It is probably a solid jointer and would serve you well enough. Still though you should be able to find an overall better more modern designed machine for close to the same money with a little patience. That is if you have the luxury of waiting.

In NJ a little less than 200 since I got a Delta 6” about 6 or 7 years ago for $200.
And mine was pristine.
