So I have decided to give up my table saw for a bandsaw. I know some might think I am nuts but I have found myself really liking using planes and chisels lately. Plus I would really like something that I can resaw with.

Therefore up for sale is my Bridgewood 10” contractor saw with Vega fence. Just put a new Freud 40t blade and vlink belt from Woodcraft on it. Runs well and smooth, I just don’t really use it much. Also comes with the mobile base in the picture. $300

Would also consider a trade for a bandsaw (plus or minus$). I’m just outside Harrisburg PA.

I also have a Freud Diablo dado stack from an extra $60 for whoever buys the saw. I only used it twice.

Thanks
Kevin

Giving up your tablesaw for a bandsaw??? I’ve always thought they complement each other well and it would be difficult to part with either.

It has been official given up. If I had more money and space, I would have both but at the moment, I think the bandsaw will suite my needs better. I have a miter saw, circular saw and router as well so I should be OK. Sure, circular saw and homemade track might take longer, but this is a hobby for me so I don’t mind taking the extra time.
