This picture was taken in Baraga County in the Upper Peninsula by a pilot counting moose for the DNR. We all know how long a moose’s legs are – the snow is really deep! Along the Lake Superior shorline they have just had a break after 27 straight days of measurable snow.

Cool picture. I spent many hours in the woods in that area. We had a camp on the Stergeon river.
