I come to Lumberjacks frequently to look at projects of others and recently noticed that as I page through, I get the pop up ads that block progressing through the pages. They prevent you from moving through the various projects. I don’t have the time to waste with the persistent ads so if this is the only way to fund the site, I’m gone.

right click to see who the ad company is, google them and add lumberjocks to the site you don’t want to serve adds to, seems to work.

If you log in you don’t get those ads.

It seems Bruce is correct. I was not logged in initially. Normally I do but just didn’t do it this morning. Thanks.

I doubt that you were Hi-Jacked by AdChoice. It’s part of Google’s Ad Network. Lumberjocks is a part of that Network.

YOU did a Post on this 3 Days ago I believe. “Ad Choice – is that used here?”. I forgot that I explained it all on there also.

This is part of what you’ll see if you click on that “AdChoices” little Greenish Triangle in the right hand corner.

MalwareBytes has a new Format. I have them on here. I’ll leave it there.

I use the free edition of Avast for my Anti Virus.
