I started working with computers in ‘62 and the thing that amazes me the most about them is the current level of life like animation. Beautiful example, novice.

I love the music in that animated video.

2Cellos are awesome. The little girl scolded by her mother for rocking out cracks me up.

The Video isn’t awesone – - that is an incredible amount of work and programming to look so realistic.

Maybe we can do it with a 3-D printer…..

These guys are on tour world wide with Elton John, they have been on Ellen and other shows.

Really impressive.

To me those “fingers” are sort of creepy, almost like skeleton hands!

But I do have to say that is one incredible piece of woodworking and automation!

Thanks for the link, oldnovice. I’ve seen some of their work before, but this one is totally over the top. Loved the mechanism as well as the music, and I’m sure it’s all technically correct.

I’ve made computer-generated stop-action videos with as many as four variables per frame, but this one must have hundreds. And where I’m making 8 frames per second, they must be making 30.

They’re definitely at the top of their game !!!
