As I stated in another post I’m in the market for a jointer. Found one used in my neck of the woods. It’s a 61/8” 1 HP Closed Base Professional Jointer by GEETECH. So far my research as shown that lots of shop equipment is made by this manufacturer and sold under Jet, Grizzly, Delta, Ridgid, etc.

I’m guessing that the 61/8” is a 6 & 1/8” not a 61” bed with a 8” blade. I’ve got a call into the seller to find out more.

The seller says it’s in excellent shape and is 5 years old. From the picture he sent it looks very clean.

Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

I’m thinking it’s way too much fun shopping for tools. Need to settle down and make something.

Tried to insert a picture of the unit. Will work on that later. See if I can follow the instructions for posting a picture.

Thanks

If I had been here 1690 days ago and knew anything about jointers I would have replied. I recently bought a used grizzly jointer and am very happy as I hope justahunter was with his purchase, assuming he got it.

Have your say...
