Topic tags/keywords: tablesaw fence htc multi fence

Hey all I have a beat on a HTC multi fence. It wasn’t advertised all that great and there seller had trouble answering questions so here I am hoping to get some answers for you. The fence was advertised as 36” but the photos make me think it’s a 42” or 50” system with just a 36” tape on it. I asked the owner for measurements of tubing and rails. Owner said the fence is 36” and the tubing is 60” providing pics, but nothing about the rails.
I’m looking for a 52” system but if this only needs a replacement tape no big deal. What length should the rails and tubing be on a 50” t square system? Does a t-square set up need 2 rails and 1 tube or 1 rail and tube. Do any of you have experience with this system? Lastly what’s a good price on a moderately used fence like this? Pics should be below.

My guide tube on my 30” rip to the right of blade is 80” it’s 2×2 iron not 2×3 like yours but 60” sounds pretty short.

So it sounds like a 60” tube definetly too short for someone looking for a 50” rip capacity.

60” tubes seem very suspect. Click on my profile and my workshop to see my saw with split rails and 30” to the right ripping capacity.

Yeah from the looks of yours if his measurements are correct I can expect low 40”a at best and that’s if I shift it all to the right. He only wanted 150 I was goanna offer 100 hoping to settle on 125 but I don’t know if it’s worth it if I either have to make or purchase a new rail system to get the capacity I want. I would prob buy too because I don’t have much experience with metal working and buying 50” rails look about 200+.
