Topic tags/keywords: question

I wanted to see how people have decorated the face of their murphy beds as I’m currently building one. I decided to search LJ’s to look at some. No matter what I search for I get this. Maybe it’s just me? Anyone seeing it?

yep, that is what i get also, has anyone notified cricket about this, she is the one who you report things like this to, so i would suggest that dan report this to her since he is the one who found the problem….and go from there…

Cricket was advised of the problem yesterday and already has them working on it. She already had them fix the speed problem we were having, and the search feature is next. She’s on top of it, already.

As Mentioned above there are already a number of other Posts on this same subject going on here.

At this moment there are 4 of them listed on the first page of the “Site Feedback Forum”. Same location this one came from.

It HAS been reported to Cricket. She has replied that that the Search function is “Broken” and they are working on fixing it.

There is also a “Work Around” on a couple of those other Posts.

It involves using that “GOOGLE, 404, That’s An Error” Screen, going directly to GOOGLE and filling in certain Wording that will get you where and what you want.

EDIT: Just in case you don’t feel like Searching for it…. THIS LINK ...... Should take you to the One with My “Work Around” Posted there.

I can not believe all the complaints about the website. It is a free website and is very good. It is a obvious that they have a few problems but have been working on them and getting them fixed.

Security…..you are posting in a public forum…......

I really think it would be nice if people would give them a little more time to work things out.

From a post by Dakkar in the other thread linked here:
”I find most websites, large or small, have poor search functions, so always just search this way: I bring up the Google search page and type in:

morris chair site:lumberjocks.com

It works great and I can narrow it to the past year, week, month, day or hour.”
This is what works best for now.
You can change “morris chair” to whatever search term you’re looking for.

That’s exactly what I’ve been b*g about the last fourteen times ! NOBODY in power at this site is paying attention to our complaints.

Hey, on the plus side, that issue you posted a day or two ago seems to have gone away (knock on wood).
