Topic tags/keywords: search

For the past hour, I have tried several times to do a search using the Search LumberJocks tab.

I continually get a 404 error. I have searched for a topic that I can actually see, eg “FENCE” or ‘SLED” but get this error message:

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /cse?cx=016283335483199634424%3A4na88symhay&cof=FORID%3A9&safe=high&q=fence&sa.x=-999&sa.y=-219&ad=n9&num=10& was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

Anyone else see this? It was working the other day, but today ???

There are a few other threads about this problem. You can use the LJ search to find them (hehe).

It is not your problem.

That’s the problem. I did use the LJ search, but it isn’t working. .... at least for me.

In the mean time, you can do a regular google search, and add :”” (exactly as is written in italics) to work around it (filters to only results)

This has been reported to the IT guys. As soon as they solve the load time issue I will bump this one.

I have had to resort to using Google search to carry out my Lumberjock searches. If you do what Mosquito said then they should work for you, for now :)

Still not working, although Cricket says they will be working on it soon.

It works for me – if you call being transferred to Google is how this is supposed to work ! >(

The site is much fast tonight as they resolved one of the issues. If the site remains this fast in the morning I will bump the request to fix our search issue.

Thankful they resolved the load time issue. It’s like the good old days.

So much faster. I’d rather have the load speed back up to snuff than have the search fixed first. Can work around the search, but the load time was annoying.

So far, I for one am much happier with the responsiveness of the new lumberjock staff… Better than the old.

Not working for me either, but the ads are still running strong. . . . priorities, priorities!
