I keep getting a 404 error.

Anyone else having a problem with the LJ search function?

I get it too. Sounds like some squirrels are chewing on the server wires again.

In the mean time, you can always do this search directly with Google:

site:lumberjocks.com jointer

Replace jointer with whatever your searching for.

I get the same thing…and when I try to post a project I get this message: You cannot post a new project until your first post has been reviewed and approved.

But under my avatar, it says I have 3 posts?

I would gladly search for the answer but the search function is down.

Can anybody tell me where and what my first reviewed and approved post should be?

Targa:

That’s a Google Search. I know you shouldn’t have to do this, but if you want to go the Long Way Around.

Click on that 404 error (Where it says “Google”). That will take you to Google’s Main Search Page.

Type in ”Lumberjocks (And whatever it is you are looking for)” It will IMMEDIATELY Show Up.

I just tried it on one of my Projects, “Lumberjocks Drill Press Table +++ Part 2” Mine was three down.

To my Surprise it was in the “Daily Top Three” (Not That I Care about that), March 16, 2010, 1,465 Days ago, 6,730 Views, 33 Times Favorited (That’s Good! Maybe They’ll Build It.) and 25 Comments.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! The Good Old Days!! Never Happen Today.

You can also go to “Images” if you want to see a BIG BUNCH Of Whatever You’re Looking For. You will also get results from MANY other Sources.

HUMMMMMMMMMM??? Maybe I should be doing this rather than the Site’s “Google Engine”. NAH!! “They’re working on it” It’ll probably be fixed >>>>>>>>> SOOOOOOOOOOOOOON<<<<<<<<<.

Hope it’s of some help.

Over & Out ;-}

Rick

I find most websites, large or small, have poor search functions, so always just search this way: I bring up the Google search page and type in:

morris chair site:lumberjocks.com

It works great and I can narrow it to the past year, week, month, day or hour.
