I want to know what is the best deal you have gotten on woodworking supplies, machines, etc.

I will start with this pile of lumber that I picked up last week for $5

It had 5 pieces of 7/8” x 3” x 12’ purpleheart, 4 pieces of 7/8” x 3” x 12’ mahogany, some walnut turning blanks, a lot of smaller pieces, and a ton of dowels. I think that I see a cutting board in my future.

I think my ‘estate sale’ purchase of an egg beater drill with a small lathe thrown in to sweeten the deal was the best deal so far.

I just picked up a 14 inch 1 hp Jet bandsaw in good shape for $200.
