The woodworking show is coming to Columbus, Ohio in a couple of weeks and I am not sure that I want to take the drive. Last time there was not much there to see.

Has anyone been to recent shows this year in other cities who can give a report?

Is anyone else planning on attending in Columbus, Ohio?

I am curious to hear.

The only one I wanted to go to was the Woodworking in America conference put on by WW-Magazine in Kentucky – but it sold out before I got around to registering.

If there was as show in Cleveland I’d make the effort, but I don’t think I’ll put the time in for a drive to Columbus. If I did go to Columbus, I think I’d try check out that huge new WoodWerks store while I was there – that looks like it might be worth the trip as much as a show would.

Kevin, maybe we can do that… we could share a ride and go together. That store is really cool to see.

The woodworking show in baltimore this last weekedn had more vendors and more people than I had seen there before.
I met 3 other LJ’ers there at the show,

I went to the Woodworking show here in Nashville just before Christmas. I thought it was good, could have been better organized though. I had the chance to go to the one in VA last March, wasn’t as big as that one, but it was the first one here in about 3-5 yrs.

I did find some good deals, but also saw things that are cheaper online (same retailer for both).

I would go back given the chance.

I intend to go to the Atlanta one this month. I’m going to leave my wallet home this time because I spent $2000 last year.
