Topic tags/keywords: question bandsaw

Here is the issue. I can cut paper thin perfect veneer of uniform thickness. My re-saw fence is parallel to the blade and I also have no drift. The problem is that the saw face of the board when compared to the fence face varies by 0.04 inches over 4 inches. I.e. at the bottom it will be 1.04 inches thick but at 4 inches above the table it will be only 1.00 inches. I could be wrong but I think the problem is table tilt. Its hard to get it exactly at 90 degrees to the blade. Is there a good way to make a micro adjustment.

Hmmm….. I didn’t see it. I’ll look again … tomorrow. Maybe I’ll read the manual.

Not familiar with your saw but both my Grizz and my Ridgid BSs have a stop bolt under the table. I use my Wixey Digital guage to square my blade to the table.
