Topic tags/keywords: sandpaper

I’m not sure where to list info about this item so I’ll put it here and maybe a couple other places.

I recently bought out part of a workshop belonging to an older man who passed. His family was getting rid of everything most of which were tools and machines I didn’t need. What I bought was a big box of wood, moldings, books, plans and a lot of misc. stuff.

Checking this when I got home I found vast quantities of PSA sanding discs for both 5” and 6” sanders. Well, now all my sanders are hook and loop so the PSA are something I can’t use but I’ll bet there is someone out there who can.

Rough estimate of quantities seems to be about 250 discs of 80 grit, 300 discs of 220 grit, 200 discs of 400 grit and about 10 discs of 1200 grit. They are a little dusty but the adhesive on most is a peel off and the rest are rolls that cover the sticky side. Many are Mirka Gold made in Finland, most of the rest are made in Canada by Klingspor so this is not crap but good quality sandpaper. I can probably get everything in a USPS Flat Rate box for $6.00 and over 700 discs should be worth a couple of $100s, at least. I am willing to take less so I’m gonna leave this on here for about 2 weeks and whoever makes me the best offer will get the goods. Shoot me your best shot. If they don’t sell here, they’ll be on Ebay in 2 weeks. Let me hear from y’all.

Nope not yet. They will go on Ebay soon as I have time to do it. They’ll sell there.

Thanks

I would keep the sanding disks if you paid a good price. You can buy the other type of plate or better yet make an adapter for your sander.

If I can figure an adapter that will really work, I may do that. I’ve got virtually nothing in these as they were in the bottom of a box I bought at an estate sale.
