For sale is this Stanley Bailey No.4 smooth plane.
It appears to be a type 19(1948-1961) in excellent condition.

The knob and tote are in great condition with only a few dents and dings. There are no cracks or repairs that I could see. Finish is good on both.
The cutting iron is about full length and is very sharp and ready to work after final honing.
The japanning is nearly fully intact.
There are a few spots of staining on the sole and sides. There is also some staining on the cutting iron.

This is a very clean example that should make a great user or addition to your collection.

Asking $50 + shipping. This will fit in a medium flat rate box for $12.35.
Pick up at my shop in Willow Spring, NC is available. Interesting trades will be considered.
