can anyone one recommend or steer me in the direction for a medium size edge sander…
i have the ridged and its been a good tool, but its on its last legs..hoping to upgrade to one a little longer, but not a 80” belt. looking for one 48” belt range..

Get an old Craftman 6×48 belt sander and build a stand to put it on its side?? That’s all I’ve got!

Porter Cable used to make a spindle sander(121) that was hand held and had a good edge guide. I have a friend who uses his as an edge sander and never has to worry about length. Sadly they do not make the tool anymore

Thanks red…looking for something like this..but no one seems to make ant thing shorter than 80” belt….No biggie, but sort of suprising..
