So after DJWong pointed me to Aura Hardwoods I made a couple of trips out there and yesterday I went a little nuts on the clearance stuff.

I am going to transcribe my receipt so you guys can tell me if I did well!

14bf 5/4 Red oak 1$pf
24bf 4×8 fir 1$pf
9bf 4/4 birch 1$pf
5bf 1/2 spanish cedar 2$pf
3bf 4/4 african mahogany 1.5$pf
4bf 4/4 zebrawood 3$pf
2bf 4/4 wenge 3$pf
6bf 6/4 maple 1.5$pf 7bf 4/4 walnut 2$pf
25bf 8/4 ash 2$pf
18bf 8/4 red oak 1.5$pf

I haven’t like cross checked- but I am pretty sure I wasn’t charged for a lot of the boards and that they downsized the measurements on a bunch too (in an effort to get the stuff out the door- not me being shady!)

The 2×4s are whitewood from Home Depot… 2.75 per board.

Keep finding good deals and you’re gonna need a pick up truck or a trailer :o)

Congratulations. I believe that you are going to have to get a trailer pretty soon.

Take it all. You can never have too much lumber.

You did terrible! You completely missed my house where you were supposed to drop it off. Seriously though, with my local prices I think you did great
