Has anyone used Ear Tree Wood for anything. How hard is it and how does it sand? Any help about this wood will be greatly appreciated.

I’ve never heard of this kind of wood. Do you have some photos of it?

Hobbit House lists it as Guancaste/ Kelobra. and has a fact sheet on it. I have seen bowls turned from it that reminded me of Monkey Pod- golden brown swirls and lustrous. Light weight but strong. A couple of sources warn of the dust being mildly toxic but I’ve never worked it. Let us know your experience with it….......Wes
