Mighty proud of those planes, is he not.I’d like to have a #7 or #8, but not at that price. He’s wanting an average of $130 each for all those.

Considering I can buy compete 78’s for no more than $60 any time and 5’s for no more than $50 each, that means about $490 for a 7 and an 8. Way too high IMHO. Crank, if you’re still looking for a 7 or 8, PM me.

Honestly, I through a high price out because whenever I sell on craigslist, people want a bargain and seem to feel they get one if you come down. But I was hoping for something around $400 total. What price would you recommend for them?

You can check sold listings on ebay to get a good idea of what planes are selling for.

I would say $40-50 max for the 78 and #5’s, $100-120 for the #7 and $120-$140 for the #8. The top of those ranges does line up with the $400 you were hoping to get, but the $650 asking would scare me off from even inquiring, too.

Maybe consider pricing them individually in the listing and offer a discount if someone buys them all.
