I bought the California Air Tools quiet air compressor and am happy with it so far. Now along comes the Dewalt A/C that claims 71 db noise level. I might have opted for the Dewalt, but I bet it costs a lot more than my CAT A/C. I will be curious to know more about this new tool.

Looks like a nice compressor for carry around use.
Right now $246 on amazon.

Emglo compressor took a pretty heavy hit in the quality department when Black & Decker bought them some years ago and slapped on black and yellow as a marketing tool. Some of the stuff branded as DeWalt has proven to decent quality, some of doesn’t deserve to be in Harbor Freight. Air compressors are one of those things better left to those with more experience.

I bought the Campbell hausfeld x lite trim compressor about 2 years ago and love it. It has aluminum tanks so I don’t have to worry about rust and it’s going for about 150 on eBay now new. I think I paid about 220. Very quiet and hasn’t given me any problems. Beats the heck out of any pancake compressors (yea I’m talking about you porter cable)
