Well not exactly fine woodworking but this is my current project, building a small bridge in the Alberta oil sands country. Can’t wait till its finished to go home for a few days.

So how cold is it for you – I was looking at the Alaska Iditarod pics – and the first hundred miles were just on the dirt, and circling the open water.

Are you getting hammered with cold – or is it unseasonably nice at your section of the Jet Stream?

We are here in Kansas freezing – - and getting more snow tonight…but it will be 70F on Monday!!

This has been a real cold winter up here, the coldest was -47 C. and has averaged around -30 C. really looking forward to Spring and a little heat.
