I am getting ready to start work on a dining table that calls for a metal base. Any thoughts on where to look for something like this? I have been through the standard google search and have not been able to come up with anything. Thanks for any insight.

I guess I should have added, I am not looking to spend anywhere near the price listed on the photo. I will have to go a different route if I can’t find something a whole lot cheaper.

If you have an ornamental iron shop in your area they should be able to do this (and for a lot less than the one pictured!)

Might also look for “wrought iron” shop (same thing, different name).

You can buy a lot of components but you’ll have to weld
them together yourself to make a table base like that.

Have your say...
