I need about 40bf of aeromatic cedar for a cedar chest. Anyone know where I can find a good supply?

How thick ? You can probably find some up near you (hope so, someone will chime in soon probably) If not I run a mill and have cedar around, but I am downstate. And most of my current stock is saw 4/4 anyway if you are looking for just thin stuff.

4/4 is what I need. Where in Illinois are you? I am doing some Nursing consulting work in Pontiac, and will be for the next month or so. can you email me at bob@woodandwax.net with a price and your location.
Thanks

Try Grants Cedar Mill in Lebanon, TN (east of Nashville)

That is some nice looking cedar. If you are going to be around St Louis, Schuller lumber is where I get mine. I pay about $1.75 per board foot, that is kiln dried, straight line ripped and surfaced 2 sides to 7/8 or 13/16 which ever you prefer..

Bob, I’m in central Illinois ,20 miles SE of Decatur. I tried to shoot a note but I was asked for a Yahoo password ? (dude you gotta fix that, it is costing you $$$, how many customers does that scare off ?) My contact info is in my signature in the form of a link to my site.

Have your say...
