YEa Yea, Damm Limey, what planet is he on now? Well working on the premis that if I don’s ask, no one knows I want, then here goes.

Looking for an Ober No 1 lathe for turning Irregular forms, ie axe handles and Waggon Wheel Spokes. Would prefer one all singing and dancing, but happy to do a rebuild job. Not too worried if a couple of bits are missing or broken. Can always make new patterns and have castings made.

Would consider a Koltz but a Ober would be my preference. Would need to ship to Geaorgia 31404. But I can arrange this, so long as it can be loaded you end.

Hoping some one can help,

Had no clue what you were looking for, so other than vintage machinery pictures and catalogs for sale on e-bay, not much help.

Can only guess more Klotz lathes around. Had more luck finding pictures of Klotz lathes and video.

Good luck with your search.

Ask on the forums at
